Penang’s biggest Halloween fest this October at the TOP Penang

OCTOBER is here, and that means we have officially entered the month of Halloween!

Thrill seekers, here’s your chance to test your nerves as The TOP Penang in Komtar will be organising a four-day Halloween event, called the Fright of Darkness.

The event is scheduled to take place from Oct 31 to Nov 3.

Tickets can be purchased at a special rate (early bird) of RM29.90 per person from Oct 1 to 15, while a normal rate of RM39.90 will be charged from Oct 16 to Nov 3.

Dubbed to be Penang’s biggest Halloween festival yet, the event is expected to draw some 5,000 visitors from far and near.

Strictly open to individuals aged 13 and above only, the spooky-filled programme will feature exciting Halloween performances and activities, best costume and best makeup sessions, a lucky draw and so on.

It was learned that 50 ghost characters will be present throughout the four-day programme.

State Tourism and Creative Economy Committee Wong Hon Wai commended The TOP Penang for such events play a vital role in attracting tourists to Penang because of their exciting and thrilling elements.

“The TOP Penang has continuously been engaging customers with their exciting promotions, and the state government hopes such activities continue to draw more tourists and uplift Penang’s reputation,” he said during a press conference to announce the Halloween event at The TOP Penang in Komtar on Oct 1.
